We serve children ages 4 to 12 right here in New Bern, NC. Every session is designed to spark curiosity, strengthen skills, and help kids feel proud of what they can do.
Meet the Owner
Welcome, parents, fellow educators, and curious visitors!
My name is Korina Coleman. I’m the owner and creator of Confident Cubs' Learning Hub, a former public school teacher, a wife, and a proud mom of four awesome kids.
Before moving to New Bern, I taught 1st and 3rd grade in my hometown in Florida. During that time, I worked at an IB school that implemented the Primary Years Programme (PYP), a student-centered, inquiry-based framework designed to nurture lifelong learners. That experience deeply shaped the educator I am today. After settling in New Bern, I taught 4th grade in Craven County and discovered a true love for teaching upper elementary students.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Transformational Curriculum and Instruction. Drawing from both my classroom experience and educational background, I created Confident Cubs' Learning Hub. CCLH is a resource-rich space where students come for tutoring and enrichment, immersed in meaningful learning and guided with intention to meet their unique educational needs. It’s a place where thoughtful instruction meets engaging tools, helping each child grow with confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
