Welcome to Confident Cubs’ Learning Hub. We offer a warm, engaging space where curious minds come to grow and build confidence! We’re proud to serve children ages 4 to 12 right here in New Bern, NC.
Our programs are designed with kids in mind.Each one tailored to fit a specific age group, grade level, or learning goal. Whether your child is getting ready for Kindergarten or needs a little extra support or enrichment throughout elementary school, we’ve got something just right for them.

Meet the Owner
Hello! My name is Korina Coleman, though I most often answer to Mrs. Coleman. I am a dedicated educator, a proud wife, and a mother to four wonderful children. My passion for education began early, when I first studied Early Childhood Education and Development in high school. That early spark led me to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, followed by a Master’s Degree in Transformational Curriculum and Instruction, both of which I earned with high honors.
My professional journey began in a faith-based preschool, where I had the privilege of working with children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. It was there that I truly fell in love with guiding young learners through their formative years, helping to prepare them for Kindergarten and enriching the educational experiences of students through fifth grade.
Since then, I’ve had the joy of teaching elementary school in both Florida and North Carolina, bringing with me a deep commitment to nurturing the whole child; academically, socially, and emotionally. With years of experience and a heart for teaching, I remain passionate about creating meaningful, engaging learning environments that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
